Based Istanbul x NO. presents “self-doubt”

Music, creativity and technology. In collaboration of Based Istanbul x No., we are painting the digital reflections of our inner world at Sonar Istanbul. In the purgatory of the real and the imagined, the inspiration we get from our changing, transforming and moving self is presented as ‘self-doubt’.

Where are all these people going? I must leave traces of myself everywhere I touch. I am neither in the right place nor at the right time… Maybe I am not the right person. Unanswered questions disappearing in my mind one by one like fading roses. The thoughts in my head are not real, and nothing unreal is in my mind. See, how the mirrors I interrogate freeze up.

Allegory of reality, narratives of vibrations, electronic revelations, magnetism of the spiritual, cubic dreams, electronic evocations, feedback memories, absolute loneliness and endless worries of an image… In the veil of infinitely redesigned digital realities, ‘reproduction’, the belief in possibility and all the rational negative human beings that will be lost… Based Istanbul and No. Studio search for the sense of self behind our beliefs that underpin our lives. A better version of myself is always possible. But how?

Let’s rewind the story a bit, everything that we believe has taken over us now is actually at the core of our existence. Technology provides a space for discovery. A new space to explore our environment, nature, art, science and even ourselves. Discovery triggers creation and this brings about an endless transformation. Are you ready to stay in the game until you find the best version of yourself?
