Trace Your Own Path in Fondazione Prada

We love Prada. Not because of their irresistible fragrances and shoes, because of their dedication to contemporary art and culture.

The art foundation set up by fashion designer Miuccia Prada and Patrizio Bertelli, Fondazione Prada transforms the historic palazzo of Ca’ Corner della Regina with its new exhibition. Fondazione Prada’s venue in Venice hosts “The Boat is Leaking. The Captain Lied.”, a new transmedia exhibition project.

Open to the public until November 26, the project is the result of an exchange between writer and filmmaker Alexander Kluge, artist Thomas Demand, stage and costume designer Anna Viebrock and curator Udo Kittelmann. The exhibition unfolds on three storeys of the 18th century palazzo and include photographic and film works, as well as spatial settings and loans from private and public collections.

In the exhibition, each visitor can create its own narration, physically and conceptually moving through the visual imagery of the three artists. By doing this, the traditional ways of presenting artworks will be questioned.
