Red Bull Art Around Moda

This year, the Red Bull Art Around project will take place between May 5-17. The second Red Bull Art Around project crosses to the Asian Side, setting up in Moda, an area which successfully represents its specific texture. Addressing to the rich history of Moda, its diverse lifestyles and young spirit, the exhibition intents to leak into everyday lives and walking routes of the audience and inhabitants through cracks, open doors and unused corners of this town.

In this Red Bull Art Around curated by Amira Akbıyıkoğlu, artists Berk Çakmakçı, Cem Dinlenmiş (with Göksu Gül and Cihan Kılıç), Esk Reyn, Hacer Kıroğlu, Hera Büyüktaşçıyan, İrem Günaydın, Lara Ögel, Nihat Karataşlı, Onur Atay, Özge Topçu and Plankton Project are in a dialogue with the past, present and future of Moda through their artwork using various media.

By its exploratory attitude, Red Bull Art Around Moda aims to break the silence, to remember the forgotten and to ooze into this town.
