Moving Image Immersive Media Presents: New Realities
New Realities, the new exhibition of Moving Image – Immersive Media which is a new branch of the Moving Image Video Art Fair founded by Murat Orozobekov and Edward Winkleman, is hosted by Alt Art Space between September 23 – 25.
With a wide selection of artists who create works in virtual reality and augmented reality, the New Realities exhibition is concerned with the way we perceive the world around us and what it means to choose our own reality. The works in the exhibition range from virtual reality projects designed especially for the Alt Art Space and the courtyard of bomontiada to augmented reality works that respond to human body movements.
From the artists included in the project, Claudia Hart, John Craig Freeman, Pappenheimer & Zachary Brady work with augmented reality, Salvador Loza & Gibrann Morgado, Christopher Manzione & Seth Cluett, Will, Rachel Rossin, Jakob Kudsk Steensen and Deniz Tortum use virtual reality in their works.
Most of the works modified specially for this exhibition, your experiences here aim to question what “reality” really means and show you amazing new worlds!
