Dance By Shantanu Starick

We waited for the rain to stop. The moment it did she climbed out of her small bedroom window and onto the black New York City rooftop. I watched for hours as she moved around the space spinning and leaping, ducking and turning. I never looked for the right words to describe watching an elegant dancer. They don’t exist. Even photographs miss the story of something, no matter how good it is.
