Tiny Worlds of Wonder

Creating tiny worlds in thread to capture specific moments, artist Michelle Kingdom brings a whole new perspective to details in sartorial choices. These intricate embroideries feature people, animals, and nature entailing vivid colors.

What most (including us) can’t master with a pencil or a pen, Kingdom does with stitches. Miniature in scale, the scenery used in these emblems are incredible compositions with stories. There is a sense of an underlying theme of melancholy in these pictures, whether due to the subjects, or the use of colors. Either way, we’d be more than happy to place them on our oversized denim jackets.
