Mamut Art Project

Turkey’s first and most extensive “accessible art” event Mamut Art Project is going to take place in KüçükÇiftlik Park for the fourth time, between April 21-24, 2016. The jury have decided that the works of 52 artists will be exhibited in the fourth Mamut Art Project this year, chosen from nearly 1000 applications. The jury of Mamut Art Project 2016 is made up of names like Banu Gündoğdu, Ömer M. Koç, Erinç Seymen, Ali Şimşek and Fatoş Üstek, who brought together the works of up-and-coming artists from various disciplines.

Mamut Art will also be the stage for a 2 day workshop, there will be a series of special performances in the event. Among 995 submitted applications to Mamut Art Project this year, there are applicants from USA, Iran, Germany, Sweden, United Kingdom, Poland and Ukraine as well as Turkey. Within the pieces chosen by the jury, there will be new media, installation, performance, illustration, photography, sound installation, street arts, sculpture, video, print, painting and bio-art works, digital and interactive projects.
