Everything We Miss About the Summer: Olga Molina

“When all other girls would play with dolls, kitchen play sets and balls, I spent hours drawing. You couldn’t peel me off my drawing block,” says Olga Molina. She was so absorbed in drawing, her parents took him to the doctor at the age of 4 thinking that she had hearing loss. She was that passionate.
The reason we wanted to focus on Olga’s works in this issue is that her illustrations remind us of the sun, beaches and the Mediterranean culture – everything we miss about the summer. Her watercolor paintings free from rules of perspective are as friendly and fun as they’re unrealistic. We took a look at her sketchbook she carries everywhere she goes.
