Dior Men SS25 – Poetically Sumptuous

Kim Jones proves once again that he is a pioneer who never ceases to amaze us by perfectly crafting a poetically sumptuous collection.

Jones kept it classically chic as usual in the Dior Men’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, with a focus on tailoring, muted colors, and natural tones. We saw lots of extended collars and pleated trousers, which are typical of Dior’s sophisticated men’s suiting style. Vests and shorts also made an appearance, with a few blue and pink pieces for the more adventurous Dior man. The bucket hat was a new summer-ready addition to the Dior man’s wardrobe, featuring small ceramic embellishments.

The collection also featured a bird motif throughout the show, drawing heavily on the work of South African ceramist Hylton Nel. Nel is known for his super-stylized ceramic figures that look like animals, including his famous cats, which lined the show’s catwalk. A lot of the collars, buttons, shoes, and even sweaters had bird motifs in unusual and abstract ways.

Kim Jones is a true innovator in the fashion industry. He’s presented his most personal and creative collection yet, featuring a sublime and unique version of one of his favorite songs, Kate Bush’s legendary “Cloudbusting.” The show’s effort to remain quintessentially Dior while embracing Jones’s spirit helps the Dior Men’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection to truly soar.
