D’estree by Two Sisters

I was reading French Elle the other week when I came upon the story of two sisters and their beautiful hat collection called D’Estree. I contacted them immeditely, and that was it! Already I am obsessed with hats, although I never wear them, but I love it when I see other women daring to be brave and try their luck with winter and especially summer hats (I think its hater to pull off the summer hat). I was invited to their showroom in the 7th district of Paris where upon I met one of the sisters, Geraldine – more on the business side…. and the other sister is Victoire, who is the designer. It turns out that they only started D’Estree only a year ago, and have become so popular that The Bon Marche in Paris have also fallen in love with their style and designs……their upcoming winter collection, of which I was able to take a sneak peak, nearly had me wanting to skip forward to this years winter…although I am not suicidal. Their upcoming Spring/Summer collection for 2016 is so adorable, and so typical of what you might expect to wear in the South of France, or any summer road trip. We will definitely have to catch up with both sisters later on to check out their own sense of style. Maybe Ill be brave this summer…we”ll see.
