What does beauty mean to you?
I believe that beauty is very much connected to one’s character and behavior. A person’s energy and sincerity can be much more impressive than their appearance.
What is the key to looking beautiful?
I think blush! (Laughs) But really, healthy and glowing skin, rosy cheeks and a big smile!
Are you one of those who can spend more time for yourself at night?
I definitely am. In high school I used to study for exams at night, and now I do most of my work at night. I’ve never been an early riser. I feel much more productive at night, when everyone is asleep and it’s quiet.
Why is skin care important for you?
Although my skin is not genetically very problematic, I only realized its value when it deteriorated due to weather and water changes. That’s when I realized how important it is to listen to how my skin feels and give it the care it needs. Also, I have very dry skin and I often wear makeup for my job, which can dry it out even more. So skincare is not a luxury for me, it’s a necessity!
What is a must for your skin care routine?
The essentials of my skincare routine are definitely an oil-based makeup remover and Estée Lauder Bounce Cream. You can’t start skincare without removing makeup completely.
What makes a product indispensable for you?
What makes a product indispensable for me is that it is soft in texture and does not irritate my skin. If it harmonizes with my skin, I start to reach for that product. The smell is also very important! If it has a clean, fresh scent, it’s a step ahead for me.
Bright and natural makeup? Or bold and eye-catching?
Bright and natural. I think this is the makeup style that suits my facial features the best. Very bold eye makeup doesn’t suit me, so I prefer fresh and shimmery looks.
You can only take 3 skin care products with you on vacation, what would they be?
An oil-based makeup remover, Estée Lauder Revitalizing Supreme+ Night Power Bounce Creme and Advanced Night Repair Serum.
Best skincare advice you’ve ever received?
Instead of using a product because it is trendy, it is important to know your own skin first and choose products that are really good for it. Not every product is good for every skin. And moisture, moisture, moisture! Moisture is everything.
What is the step you never skip in your night care routine?
The step I never skip in my night care routine is definitely cleansing my skin. Makeup or not, it is essential for me to get rid of the dirt of the day. Then I definitely apply Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum especially on my cheek area because it helps to minimize my pores.
What relaxes you at the end of a busy day?
Drinking tea and chatting with Chris.
Is it harder to be yourself or to stay yourself?
Honestly, I’ve never tried to stay myself because I’ve always been myself. I don’t know how to be any other way. Living with my own truths gives me peace and I’m very happy with that.
Tell us about the last dream you remember.
Recently, I had a dream that a ship was splitting in two with a very dear friend of mine. When I woke up, I looked at the dream interpretation and it showed that the plans made for business life would be finalized! I am in a process of establishing my own brand, so I was very happy to read this interpretation.
