Corniglia

Its my second year in Istanbul and it is without doubt that different cities means new chapters, new discoveries. Ever since I was a child I was always made aware of the people around me, who they are, where they come from. My family is responsible for this, being read to every night whilst growing up till the age of 16, whether it be poetry or classics, always a new subject of politics to be discussed each evening at the dinner table. Weekends were for flying with my father, or playing poker with my Russian grandmother. Holidays were spent out west on my farm in Australia where the land can be harsh and unforgiving. My sister and I were raised to be strong and independent and to constantly experience life. My sister went on to write about her experiences, whilst I used photos as a way to gather the things I see and the people I meet in my life.
