Thinking about relaxing: KAWS: HOLIDAY

American artist KAWS recently made a thirty-seven meter long inflatable sculpture that was thrown in the middle of Victoria Harbor in Hong Kong.

The KAWS:HOLIDAY sculpture is the most gigantic project ever made by the artist, who has a few times used the character represented here.

“I was thinking of all the tension in the world, and I wanted to create work that would make people think about relaxing,” KAWS recently told TIME. “And there’s nothing more relaxing than lying on your back in water and looking up at the sky.”

You’ll also be able to cop a series of limited-edition collectibles, created in collaboration with AllRightsReserved, including a soft toy pack, a limited edition bath toy, and a “Hong Kong Stop” T-Shirt and tote bag. There is also a 170cm floating bed that inspired by floating work.
