Outside All Conventional Photographs

Murat Kahya, who met photography in towards the end of his high school years and during his study of engineering at college, is a photography artist who freezes every moment that touches his life and adds it a new dimension. “I love observing things in the street, on the subway, and on the bus while going to someplace. Photography is just a way for me to capture these observations.” Continuing to capture the moment and to share stories, Murat Kahya is currently working on his exhibition “Resource Utopia” to be opened at Elgiz Museum which portrays the people, land and individual stories around Kızılırmak River. As we converse with him, words adopt a separate presence and turn into moments.
