Check Out Prada’s Spring/Summer 2018 Collection

If storytelling is the root of all communication, the manner in which we choose to tell them is significant. And a fashion show is a story told in an architectural space: a story in a story. For the S/S2018 Prada Men’s Show, however, the architectural installation has been erased and the extant structural elements of the building have been outlined to create frames for seemingly-simple yet evocative picture stories. Parallel with the collection, Prada has turned its creative space for the show into one giant comic book. Performed last night in Milano, the fashion show had some signature pieces include the retro-styled comic book design printed across some of the shirts, jackets, pullovers, and belts.
